Prior to becoming VP of Business Development for ObjectBuilders, Joseph Brophy ran American Financial Enterprises, Inc., a diversified financial services company, as Executive Vice President. While at American Financial Enterprises, he oversaw all facets of the operations. Under his direction, American Financial Enterprises grew from five employees to over ninety employees. The company under Joseph's direction was managing receivables of just under $1 billion.
He grew American Financial Enterprises, Inc.'s client base to include the sectors of government, banking, healthcare and insurance. These included companies such as MBNA, CIGNA, Discover, GE Capital, First USA, PNC, the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury & Attorney General. Joseph ultimately negotiated the sale of American Financial Enterprises, Inc. to N.C.O., a public company that is now the largest business of its kind in the world.

Joseph held various positions with Continental Baking Company, distributor of Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake, before transitioning to American Financial Enterprises, Inc. During his employment with Continental Baking Company, Joseph was responsible for overseeing 700 employees in four states and marshalling them toward profitable growth. His responsibilities included sales, management, production, retail stores, baking, shipping, financial, sanitation, transportation and regulatory compliance.
